Integrative Counselling is a person centred, trauma informed approach to counselling that integrates somatic (body centred) processes, mindfulness, breathwork, cognitive behaviour therapy and energy work. It is a gentle approach that gives you the tools to make deep and sustained change, resolve trauma, manage stress/anxiety, and build confidence and trust in yourself. It is an approach that acknowledges the interconnectedness of all aspects of self - mind, body, and spirit - drawing on evidence based psychology, cutting edge neuroscience, and ancient wisdom traditions.
Each session is a co-created process of healing and transformation that unfolds according to each woman’s unique needs, desires and vision. It is an invitation to connect more deeply with your authentic inner knowing to gain clarity, transform stuck energy and awaken to greater potential. Somanitc Integrative Counselling offers a container where your life stories are shared, held and witnessed in a safe and sacred space.
Sessions typically go for 60-75 minutes and include talking therapy (including cogntive behaviour therapy, acceptance and committment therapy, schema work), mindfulness practices, somatic release (through movement or breath), energy realignments. Each session concludes wtih you receiveing tools and strategies that will continue to support your journey of transformation.
In person sessions occur on a Monday only at Abergeldie House, Glen Osmond, SA.
